Description: Reverse Milky Way arch panorama above the Mangart saddle with Zodiacal light and airglow!
Oh yes, the day finally came when we set off with friends for a night of photography.
This time, we headed to the Mangart Saddle in the Julian Alps to capture a unique compositions that hasn’t been seen in photos before.
During the day, Stefano and I scouted compositions, hiking across the entire Saddle with our heavy backpacks full of gear, planning how the night’s photography would unfold.
We spent the first part of the night at the very top of the saddle, where we were treated to stunning views.
When it was time for the second composition at a completely different location, our friend joined us from another peak!
After chatting, we realized it had been three years since we last photographed together—unbelievable how fast time flies, too fast!
The three of us then decided to create this stunning panorama with Mangart in the foreground!
The Milky Way shined in all its glory that night; we truly had perfect conditions. To top it off, we captured Zodiacal light and airglow in our lenses! Another unforgettable mountain adventure with friends!
