Opis: Tega nekoliko globjega posnetka vesolja sem se neizmerno veselil forografirati. Meni namreč je to najlepši del vidnega neba iz naše poloble.
Fotografija nastala sredi polja v neposredni bližini doma, kjer sem tudi začel svojo “kariero” astrofotografije.
Na fotografiji vidite ozvezdje Škorpijona, kateri se je v času fotografiranja začel dvigovati nad obzorje. Natančeje na fotografiji desno vidimo oblakovni kompleks Rho Ophiuchi, kateri velja za najbližje območje nastajanja zvezd Zemlji.
Meglica Rho Ophiuchi je velika razpršena meglica pete magnitude, ki se nahaja v jugozahodnem kotu ozvezdja Ophiuchus in ga obdaja svetel večzvezdni sistem Rho Ophiuchi. Več območij svetle in temne meglice obdaja to področje, ki je poimenovano po ρ Oph.
Območje, ki ga poudarja svetla zvezda Antares (rumena), ponuja impresiven prikaz pisanih žarečih plinov, ki se prepletajo s temnimi rečnimi tokovi goste prašne snovi, povezanimi z meglico Temni konj. Prav tako gre za najbolj barviti del vidnega neba.
Description: I was immensely excited to photograph this deeper image of the Universe. To me, this is the most beautiful part of the visible sky from our hemisphere. The photo was shot in the middle of a field in the immediate vicinity of my home, where I also began my “astrophotography career”.
In the photograph, you can see the constellation Scorpio, which was starting to rise above the horizon at the time of the shooting. More precisely, on the right side of the photograph, we can see the Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex which is the closest star-forming region to Earth.
Rho Ophiuchi Nebula is a large diffuse nebula of 5th magnitude located in the southwestern corner of the constellation Ophiuchus, surrounding the bright multiple star system Rho Ophiuchi. Several regions of bright and dark nebulosity surround this area, which takes its name from ρ Oph.
Highlighted by the bright star Antares ( yellow ) , the region provides an impressive spectacle of colorful glowing gases, juxtaposed with converging dark rivers of thick dust conected to the Dark horse nebula.
