Description: This time, let me take you to the highlands of the Julian Alps, or more precisely, to the summit Robičje (1941m).
From the top, a truly magnificent view opens up on the peaks of the Julian Alps, while down in the mountain Valley, the road winds over the Vršič Pass.
I ventured to the summit of Robičje twice in one hot afternoon, as during the day I wanted to see with my own eyes whether the location had potential for a nighttime panorama.
This time, I was joined by my friend, but in the evening, we parted ways and each went to our own location.
I decided to create a 360-degree panorama, which brought me great joy, as I captured a rather strong greenish glow in the lens, quite striking for our region. With the naked eye, I also saw a few meteors that night; one of them lit up the entire sky near the core of the Milky Way, leaving an incredible trail of dust behind—sadly, I didn’t manage to capture it in the lens.
But in the end, there’s nothing more beautiful than spending the night in the mountains, in serene silence, under a sky sprinkled with countless stars. A night to remember!
