Description: And my time has come too, when I tackled processing an HaRGB image of the sky for the first time in my life.
With this photo, I was really still finding my way, searching for the best possible ways to integrate the H-alpha data into the RGB image. Of course, I admit, there’s no shortage of data for processing the reddish signal from nebulae, and it’s incomparably easier to work with than without a filter.
This time, a friend sent me the Ha signal just as a taste, so at least I got a feel for what the processing looks like and what the final result can be.
I photographed this composition on a small pond near my hometown with really calm water. The reflections that night was perfect and also the night sky was perfectly clear and calm.
